Like a cup of coffee but for your eyes, this eye treatment delivers a boost of caffeine to reduce dark circles and puffiness to help you get ready to face the day.

WHY IT’S SPECIAL

The Ordinary Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG contains an extremely high 5% concentration of caffeine, working to improve the microcirculation of blood vessels which in turn helps to reduce any visible signs of fatigue and dark shadows in the delicate eye contour. Its especially effective in decreasing puffiness since caffeine causes blood vessels to constrict, leading to a decrease in fluid accumulation.

This water-based formula is also supplemented with highly-purified Epigallocatechin Gallatyl Glucoside (EGCG) – or green tea extract – to further tackle these signs, ensuring a visibly refreshed complexion so you’re ready to take the day on.

HOW TO USE

• Apply one drop onto your fingertips and massage onto eye contour daily or as needed.

• For drier eye contours, mix in a hydrating serum or a light moisturiser together with this product.

• Follow with moisturiser, and sunscreen in the day.

Use in the AM and/or PM. 

GOOD TO KNOW

• Suitable to use with any other The Ordinary products.

• Hollowness in the eye contour as a result of structure of sub-dermal tissues like fat and bone can result in visible shadows under the eyes. This shadow, which is not to be mistaken for dark circles, cannot be addressed with topical skincare including this formula.

• Fat deposits under the eye contour can create permanent puffiness in this area. This type of deposit cannot be improved with topical skincare, including this formula.

• Supplied in UV-protective brown tinted glass bottle as EGCG is sensitive to light.

• Due to packaging shortages associated with COVID-19, the dropper on The Ordinary Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG may either have a white or a black dropper. There has been no changes to the formulation, and this packaging change has no impact on the efficacy of the product.

• Always conduct a patch test before use on unbroken skin.
