THE INKEY LIST’s Beta Hydroxy Acid (BHA) is a gentle exfoliating treatment that penetrates beneath the surface of the skin to help unclog heavily congested pores and resurface dull and dead skin cells, while purging your pores of deeply embedded impurities accumulated over time.

While AHAs like glycolic acid love water, BHAs love oil. Represented in this oil-soluble treatment as 2% Salicylic Acid, this acclaimed gunk-busting ingredient can bypass the oil that clogs pores and dissolves the mix of sebum and dead skin that often leads to blackheads and acne. It also stabilises the lining of the pore, therefore improving the look of enlarged pores. 

This ingredient makes a great addition to any routine especially for oilier skin types as its anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties can help calm breakouts and reduce future blemishes.

To round off the exfoliation with some hydration, a concentration of 1% Hyaluronic Acid is combined in this formula to ensure that it is non-drying to the skin.

Suitable for: Normal/Oily/Combi/Dry skin types.

Feels like: A thin water-like serum.

HOW TO USE

• After cleansing, apply 2-3 drops into face and neck. It can also be used as a targeted treatment for blemish-prone areas.

• Follow with preferred serums and moisturiser.

Use in the AM and/or PM. 

Always apply SPF in the day when using exfoliating acids.

GOOD TO KNOW

• As this product is exfoliating, avoid using at the same time as Alpha Hydroxy Acids (Glycolic Acid, AHA, Lactic Acid) or Retinol.

• This product may cause sun sensitivity so always use a broad spectrum SPF during the day.

• We recommend to avoid using exfoliating acids, such as Beta Hydroxy Acid, when pregnant or breastfeeding. Consult with your doctor to stay on a safe side.

• We always recommend patch testing on the inside of the forearm 24 hours before using.

• Introduce new products slowly so that you can easily identify any sources of irritation.

• Store in a cool dry place out of sunlight.

• Avoid direct contact with eyes.

• External use only.

• If any skin irritation persists, discontinue use and consult a doctor.

• Keep out of reach of children.
