WHY IT’S SPECIAL

Niacinamide, also known as Vitamin B3, is a well-studied active ingredient that’s raved about in the beauty industry. Contributing to supporting the structural and functional integrity of the skin, it harnesses a high 10% concentration of Niacinamide as well as a 1% concentration of Zinc PCA to balance sebum activity and reduce textural irregularities.

This potent serum features two of the most efficacious ingredients that work simultaneously to combat breakouts and blemishes, minimise enlarged pores, decongest complexions, and eliminate excess shine for clearer, brighter, and smoother skin. Independent studies suggest Niacinamide is also an effective ingredient for brightening skin tone, therefore helpful with problems like hyperpigmentation. 

The brilliant shot of Zinc PCA in this formula makes for an even better option especially for those with acne-prone or oily skin, with its high anti-inflammatory action to reduce blemish-causing bacteria and regulate sebum overproduction.

HOW TO USE

• Apply 1-3 drops to palm, then pat or massage across face and neck until absorbed. 

Use in the AM and/or PM.

GOOD TO KNOW

• If topical Vitamin C (L-Ascorbic Acid and/or Ethylated L-Ascorbic Acid) is used as part of skincare, it should be applied at alternate times with this formula (ideally Vitamin C in the PM and this formula in the AM) or on alternate days. Otherwise, Niacinamide can affect integrity of the Vitamin C.

• While Niacinamide and Zinc PCA reduce the look of blemishes and balance visible sebum activity, neither is a treatment for acne. For persistent acne-related conditions, we recommend seeing a dermatologist or the use of Benzoyl Peroxide and/or Retinoic Acid. DECIEM doesn't recommend ongoing use of BHA such as Salicylic Acid for persistent blemishes. For temporary improvement in appearance of blemishes, Salicylic Acid would help. This formulation can be used alongside acne treatments if desired for added visible skin benefits.
