Pynogenol® is a natural plant extract derived from the pine bark of French maritime pine trees that contain procyanidins (the ingredient responsible for its beautiful amber colour), bioflavonoids and organic acids that work in synergy to rejuvenate the skin, resulting in enhanced skin hydration and elasticity.

With its great affinity to collagen and elastin, Pycnogenol® protects these proteins from degradation while nourishing the skin from the inside out. Its impressive photo-protective compounds reduce oxidative stress and UV damage, along with a welcome addition of propanediol in this formula that works as a penetration-enhancing hydrating ingredient that leaves a dewy finish on skin.

HOW TO USE

• After water-based serums, apply 1-3 drops to palm, then pat or massage across face and neck until absorbed. 

• Can be mixed with other treatments/serums (except Copper Peptides) for enhanced antioxidant capacity. Pycnogenol also has the ability to recycle oxidised Vitamin C to restore its activity. 

• After application,  please wash hands and avoid product contact with light coloured fabric as it may stain.

Use in the AM and/or PM.

• The Ordinary Pycnogenol 5% is free of artificial colours. The formula’s deep amber-red colour is due to the high procyanidin content in Pycnogenol. After application, please wash hands and avoid product contact with light coloured fabric as it may stain.

• Supplied in UV-protective brown tinted glass bottle to reduce light degradation of the product.
