Retinol Serum

A superstar ingredient famed for its anti-ageing benefits, the Retinol serum helps to promote skin renewal and enhance collagen production, leaving skin brighter, smoother and more youthful-looking.

WHY IT’S SPECIAL

The Retinol serum unites a concentration of 1% stable Retistar retinol (the equivalent of 0.05% retinol) and 0.5% Granactive Retinoid with added Squalane to soothe and hydrate skin.

Retinol – a derivative of vitamin A – encourages skin renewal and boosts collagen production by working at a cellular level to promote regeneration and repair so that newer cells reach the surface quicker. As we age, the rate at which our skin renews itself slows down, so adding a retinol to your anti-ageing routine can be a great way of kick-starting cells back into action.

This slow-release formula minimises irritation while providing effective delivery into the skin, working hard to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, even out skin tone, tackle blemishes and improve skin clarity for a brighter, more even complexion.

A perfect introduction to using Retinol for those who are starting to see the first signs of ageing.

Suitable for: Normal/Combi/Dry/Oily skin types.

HOW TO USE

• After cleansing and serums, apply a pea-sized amount and massage into the face and neck.

• Follow with preferred moisturiser.

• Avoid use with other retinol treatments.

• For the fragile skin around the eyes, we recommend using Retinol Eye Cream.

GOOD TO KNOW

• The Inkey List Retinol serum contains 1% Retistar, which is equivalent to 0.05% retinol, and 0.5% Granactive Retinoid.

• It is not recommended to use Retinol and Alpha Hydroxy Acids at the same time as this can lead over-exfoliation and sensitised skin, so alternate and use on different nights.

• Avoid mixing Vitamin C products at the same time (Use Vitamin C in AM and Retinol in PM).
  
  
• This product may increase the skin’s sensitivity to the sun. Always use a broad spectrum sunscreen during the day.

• If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor before use.

• We always recommend patch testing on the inside of the forearm 24 hours before using.

• Introduce new products slowly so that you can easily identify any sources of irritation.

• Store in a cool dry place out of sunlight.

• External use only.

• If any skin irritation persists, discontinue use and consult a doctor.

• Keep out of reach of children.
