WHY IT’S SPECIAL

Drawing its powers from the kernels of the fruits of the Marula tree – a life-giving plant native to Sub-Saharan Africa and beloved by humans and elephants alike (if you’ve ever heard the myth about elephants getting drunk from a fruit, this is it).

The highly nourishing cold-pressed virgin African Marula oil is composed mostly of essential fatty acids like oleic acid and linoleic acid but also contains antioxidants that neutralises free radicals – procyanidin, catechins, and flavonoids. We have these ingredients to thank for a restored radiance in skin, improved skin hydration, and skin as smooth as a peach.

(Tip: This oil also supports healthy hair and tames hair frizz! Work a few drops through damp, clean hair.)

HOW TO USE

• After water-based treatments, apply 1-3 drops daily or as needed, pat or massage into skin until absorbed.

Use in the AM and/or PM.

• Supplied in UV-protective brown tinted glass bottle to reduce light degradation of the product.

• This product is fragrance-free (as with all The Ordinary products), so any scent you might detect is a natural result of the ingredients. If the scent bothers you, try diluting this oil into a gentle moisturiser or cream to reap the benefits while diluting the scent!

• Always conduct a patch test before use on unbroken skin.
