Pro-Vitamin A helps to prevent the effects of premature ageing such as a damaged barrier function, dark spots, and fine lines often caused by repeated exposure to UV rays, by encouraging cellular regeneration. The fatty acids combine to offer a boost of hydration to soothe dry and dehydrated skin.

Rose hip oil has also been acclaimed for its anti-inflammatory properties, helping to reduce effects from skin conditions like rosacea and eczema.

This formulation makes for a wonderful daily support and has a relatively thin consistency being a “dry” oil, which allows for easy absorption into the skin without the greasiness or heaviness.

HOW TO USE

• After water-based treatments, apply 1-3 drops daily or as needed, pat or massage into skin until absorbed.

Use once a day, ideally in the PM.

• This product is fragrance-free (as with all The Ordinary products), so any scent you might detect is a natural result of the ingredients. If the scent bothers you, try diluting this oil into a gentle moisturiser or cream to reap the benefits while diluting the scent!

• The 100% Organic Cold-Pressed Rose Hip Oil is completely unrefined and imparts a natural scent partly due to its high omega fatty acid content. This scent is not an indication of rancidity. Rose Hip Seed Oil that does not have a scent is refined and offers reduced benefits.
