WHY IT’S SPECIAL

Commonly touted as “Botox in a Bottle”, the Argireline Solution 10% contains ARGIRELINE™, an anti-ageing peptide trademarked by Barcelona-based cosmetic company Lipotec. It is a proprietary solution of Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 that works by limiting the ability of neurotransmitters to activate movement in your facial muscles, for example, when forming facial expressions such as smiling or frowning. By inhibiting the nerves that cause facial muscles to contract, subtle facial expressions are limited and wrinkles are subsequently reduced. Controlled studies have shown that ARGIRELINE™ improves the appearance of facial areas prone to developing dynamic folds like laugh lines, including the delicate areas around the eyes and in the forehead area.

Peptides like ARGIRELINE™ are made up of amino acids and protein that has become indispensable anti-ageing ingredients for the skin. Also responsible for stimulating the production of collagen and elastin in the skin – which are important proteins for young and smooth skin.

HOW TO USE

• Apply 1-3 drops on the forehead and around the eyes twice daily or as needed, before heavier treatments.

Use in the AM and/or PM.

GOOD TO KNOW

• Some products like the Argireline Solution 10% have a chance of pilling or balling, which is when you find little bits of product coming off on your hands. If this happens, try using less product and patting it onto your face rather than rubbing it in. If the pilling continues, have a look at the other products you are using alongside Argireline, and try experimenting with another method of layering (e.g using this before other serums/treatments instead of after).

• Studies have shown that the water content of formulations does impact the utility level of topical ARGIRELINE™ and specifically that higher water content results in better utility. This formulation is water-based and avoids oils, esters and silicones.

• Always conduct a patch test before use on unbroken skin.

• Should persistent irritation occur, stop use immediately and consult your local physician.
