As a solution to these oxidative stressors, The Ordinary has formulated Resveratrol 3% + Ferulic Acid 3% with concentrations higher than it is traditionally offered, maximising the protective and age-defying benefits.

Resveratrol is derived from Japanese knotweed that is known to have a skin-calming effect that can help tone down redness, while ferulic acid is naturally found in the walls of plant cells (such as oats, rice, and wheat) that play a key role in protecting the skin, both of which combine to brighten and support the skin’s defences.

These two mighty antioxidants work synergistically to deliver an enhanced ability to neutralise free radicals, therefore encouraging the production of collagen and elastic – keeping the skin more youthful and supple.

When it comes to skincare and antioxidants, it is "the more the merrier", so resveratrol is definitely a nice addition to any skincare routine.

Suitable for: All skin types. Sensitive skin types may consider diluting this with other treatments to minimise risk of irritation.

HOW TO USE

• After water-based serums and before heavier oils or creams, apply 1-3 drops to palm, then pat or massage across face and neck until absorbed.

• Resveratrol 3% + Ferulic Acid 3% can be applied alone or, to enhance the benefits further, combined with Vitamin Cs to create an outstanding antioxidant network.

• This treatment is highly concentrated and can be diluted with most oils per application to reduce strength.
  

• Do not refrigerate.

Use in the AM and/or PM.

• Water can impair the stability of any antioxidant. This formula does not contain any water, silicones, oils or alcohol.

• Supplied in UV-protective brown tinted glass bottle to reduce light degradation of the product.

• Always conduct a patch test before use on unbroken skin.

• Should any irritation occur, stop use immediately and consult your local physician.
